* Bracket- A support system that allows the attachment of cables and installation of rollers. It is located at the bottom of the garage door.
* Cables/safety cables-This allows the garage door to be lifted and lowered. Depending on the weight of the garage door, the cables could have more steel wire and/or be broader. These cables are connected to the bottom brackets and drums. Safety cables are installed with extension spring systems and hold the spring in place in the event it should break.
* Clearance- This is the space between the header and the bottom of the horizontal track.
* Clearance Track-This track allows the garage door to lift well above the garage door opening before it transitions to lying flat.
* Handle- This handle allows the garage door to be opened manually rather than with an electric opener.
* Plate- This allows for the garage door to be opened manually and also serves as a step down plate.
